Imperial Imdal-Reference

On the morning of December 5th, 2003 the legendary Straight Egyptian Stallion Imperial Imdal was  found lying  in his stall in a peaceful eternal sleep.

Imperial Imdal+, who was owned by Barbara Vallée of Vallée Arabians, had garnered in his life time many wins including the titles of US Reserve National Champion Stallion; World Champion Stallion, Salon Du Cheval, Paris France; Regions XV, XVI & East Coast Champion Stallion; and had twice taken the honor of Egyptian Event Supreme Champion Stallion.

It is an irony, that this beautiful stallion was taken from this earth during the Salon Du Cheval, where Imdal himself had shown and proved himself as a younger horse.  He had come full circle, after 21 years of life, he exited this world with as much grace and dignity as he shared with the world his whole life.  We enjoyed the personal moments that we spent with Imdal both at his home and at the Egyptian Event.  He was a kind and lovely stallion.  His little noises that he would make when he was trying to communicate what he wanted, were so endearing.  When you scratched his withers in just the right spot, he would lean a little to ask you to scratch harder.  Quite the character.  We will miss you Imdal.
